Sixty-two percent are women 和 38% are men, mirroring the national average. R和olph’s enrollment includes 68 graduate students, a number that includes Master of Arts in Teaching 和 M.F.A. in Creative Writing students as well as members of the inaugural class for the new Master of Arts in Coaching 和 Sport 领导.

R和olph’s students come from 32 states 和 12 countries 和 about 75% are Virginia residents. The student body includes 5% international students 和 41% domestic non-white students. (If international students are included, 43% are students of color.)

Members of R和olph’s first-year class are high achievers, with GPAs averaging about 3.35.  Fifty-two percent of R和olph students were in the top 25% of their high school classes, 和 80% were in the top 50%.

A remarkable 95% of R和olph’s full-time faculty members hold the highest possible degree in their fields. R和olph offers a rigorous liberal arts curriculum in small classes taught by engaged, caring professors–never graduate students. The average class size is 11, 和 the student:faculty ratio is 8:1.

• Twenty-nine majors 和 44 minors, as well the option of an independently designed major tailored to your interests.
• Co-curricular experiences bring real world focus to every major 和 requires significant independent research.

• A cooperative, dual degree career program in 工程 allows students to earn a degree at R和olph 和 a second degree from another institution (Washington University in St. Louis or the University of Virginia) in a compressed time frame.
• Unique opportunities like the American Culture Program, the 研讨会 of Artists & 学者, R和olph’s Innovative Student Experience (RISE) grant, 和 the Summer Research Program.

Our Campus Life
